Kamilya and Lorne officially first married in Montreal, and then celebrated in Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario a few weeks later. The groom even requested I shoot some film as well. One of Montreals's most distinctive Catholic churches is Saint-Viateur d'Outremont. The majestic aisle is something many brides look forward to walking down on their wedding day. Situated on rue Laurier which allowed for urban captures before we headed off to the Le Mirage Golf Club for the evening festivities.

Photographing a five day Pakistani wedding really puts all your attributes as a portrait photographer to the ultimate test. It wasn't just about the many photographs that were possible. It was the many meals that I shared, the emotions that I witnessed and the new friends that I made. It's a special feeling having the full trust of these two families on such days. I believe it all began when I photographed the bride's brother's wedding a few years back.
